Edgewood Management is proud to announce the continuation and expansion of our partnership with the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority. Over the past five years, we have supported them in their mission of providing safe, affordable homes for the residents of Fairfax County and assisting the disabled and senior members of our community.

The Fairfax portfolio serves a variety of residents and is 100% affordable at varying levels. Each community takes great pride in the diversity of the residents they serve, as well as the numerous programs they offer to support both children and seniors and educate and care for their team members.

Since 2016, Edgewood has managed 12 of the county’s assets including the implementation and completion of a $7.3M capital project at Wedgewood Apartments in Annandale, VA. Additionally and most recently, Edgewood’s management and compliance department secured an Above Average score on the Multifamily Occupancy Review (MOR) and a 93 on the REAC inspection at Stonegate Village Apartments in Reston, VA.

Because of this successful performance, we have been entrusted with the management of an additional 1,500 units of housing. New properties include senior housing and scattered site properties­—doubling the number of Fairfax units under Edgewood’s management—and each will enjoy the same robust service offering and Covid safety protocol we employ at all of our communities. Edgewood also intends to implement the ActiveBuilding resident portal at all Fairfax properties under our management, providing residents with an instant, direct means of communication and connection to all aspects of apartment living including safety precautions, service requests, social events and more.
